Smarter Loan is built so your financial information stays yours. Here is exactly what happens - and what never happens - with your data.

Everything is calculated on your device

Your loan amount, interest rate, term and overpayments are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server, stored by us, or shared with anyone.

Privacy-friendly analytics only

To understand which features help, we use Umami - a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It measures anonymous, aggregate usage (such as which page was viewed and from which country), with no cookies and no cross-site tracking. Your actual loan figures are never included.

No tracking-based ads, no data sales

We never run behavioural or tracking-based advertising, and we never sell data. Any ads we might show are contextual - chosen by the page content, never by tracking you. If you prefer, you can support the project directly; payment is handled by Stripe only when you click to donate.
